Packhorse Creek Outfitters is located within the upper headwaters of the North Fork of the Flathead River. The territory is bound to the east by the British Columbia/Alberta border and to the south by the Canada/USA boundary.
The Flathead River is an internationally recognized biologically rich and ecologically diverse ecosystem found within the “Crown of the Continent” region. It has been written about by historians like John Palliser, Kootenai Brown and Andy Russell and it continues to receive significant media attention in regards to its’ beauty and wilderness values.
It is home to a diversity of wildlife including elk; Shiras moose; mule deer; whitetail deer; grizzly bear; black bear; Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep; mountain goats; cougar; lynx and wolves. Packhorse Creek Outfitters offers both single species and combination hunts for all indicated species.
